How does “1 roof in the sun for me, 1 roof for him” work, the post we have put on Facebook for Christmas ?
For anyone who signs up for a property search in the south of France with us before January 15th and heard of us via Facebook, one third of any resulting commission we get will be donated to Habitat and Humanisme, a French housing charity. For the remainder of the year we will continue to donate 3% from our commission to this local charity or a charity of your choice and top up the air miles of the introducer.
This is our way of passing on our costs savings on publicity, to both those who share our post and to those who need housing help.

In summary they are an efficiently run French housing charity, that helps homeless and those in financial difficulty move into a home. Each year about 3000 people in France that are not covered via state services find accommodation through this association. Accommodation includes homes owned by the charity as well as low cost long term rentals agreed with landlords.
