Who is buying property ?
George Lucas of Star Wars fame has bought this April a 100 hectare property in the Var, Chateau Margui that includes 13 hectares of vines. He is the new neighbour of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who are holding on to their large 400 hectare Chateau Miraval in another village in the Var, despite their recent separation. Chateau Miraval has 30 hectares of vines producing over 150 thousand bottles of wine in all 3 colours and sell very well and this is where you can get their superb wine.
Who is selling property ?
David and Victoria Beckham sold last autumn their 600m2 property with 80 hectares in Bargemon in the Var at close to 2.7M Eur down from 4,2M Eur they had originally tried to sell it for. Now it is the turn of Johnny Depp, trying to sell his large estate near St Tropez for a price that has varied between 55M Eur and 23M Eur. The estate consists of several houses totalling 1200m2 of living space, with 12 bedrooms in the main house.
